Webdirectorylinks Bidding Directory

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

Webdirectorylinks Bidding Directory is a website where websites can bid for position on the directory. $2 is the minimum bid to get listed, and with that you get a permanent listing within the directory.

Webdirectorylinks ticks all the boxes for what can be construed as a successful bidding directory: it is well linked with a strong number of backlinks, there’s also a unique template.

But probably one of the strongest things about the directory is a strong Terms of Service. Often Directories (less reputable ones) are seen as being a quick way to make cash. This one has probably one of the most comprehensive terms of service I’ve ever seen. This makes investing in Webdirectorylinks a worthwhile investment.

Wedbirectorylinks is listed in the Bidding Directories category and you can see it’s listing here.

Mortgages

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Money Magic offers fast, free mortgage quotes within minutes to UK residents for first time or establish homebuyers. The way in which the site works is you fill in details about the mortgage you are after, and you will recieve a phone call from an Independant Financial Advisor. From then, you’ll recieve a quote for free.

What makes this site strong is that various pages on the site offer information on the various types of mortgages offer. I used to work for a company that sold endowment policies, and because they were often linked to mortgages, I had to learn about Mortgages. It took me forever to learn the types, so this is a handy primer for those of you who are interested (and considering you’re buying a house, you should be)

Sales Training

Tuesday, March 18th, 2008

Avand offers Sales Training to UK businesses. Sales is not something that comes naturally to most people, and a number of us
can (and do) detest doing it, feeling like we’re putting pressure on people. Sales however shouldn’t be like that, as we usually only remember bad sales experience, which is something Avand knows how to avoid.

By the looks of it, you register your interest in the site, and a representative from Avand will contact you to discuss your needs and wants. Avand also offer multiple other courses, but the Sales one seems to be the most popular. There must be a reason for it.

So if you want to raise your sales, earn more income and beat your targets, why not speak to Avand?

Car Insurance

Monday, March 17th, 2008

Autonet Insurance offers Car Insurance for all UK drivers. As somebody who is going through the test myself, I am well aware of how expensive a necessary evil such as car insurance is. Autonet offers to look through mulitple insurers to find the cheapest cover, and then I can buy through the company.

Autonet also, unlike many online businesses, does offer phone support, so if you are having problems with the service, you can ring for a quote in the traditional way.

With a lot of insurers online, the quality of the sites is very debatable. Usually they’re affiliate windows. This site looking around seems a lot higher quality than a lot out there, as they are regulated by the Financial Services Authority, have a indepth careers section and a bricks-and-mortar UK address. This - as a potential customer - gives me a lot of confidence that they would find me the right deal.

Night Bidding Directory - British

Thursday, March 6th, 2008

Night Bidding Directory - British is one of the new and upcoming Bidding Directories out there. I’ll be honest, I had not seen it until yesterday for the first time, but it’s already in such a strong position.

It’s easy to see why. Firstly, the Night Bidding Directory has probably the coolest looking template I’ve ever seen in a bid directory. It’s twilight colours of navy blue, orange and white, really works well and gives a soothing theme, whilst promoting it’s members.

The directory is well listed, has a decent pagerank (not that matters too much), and - according to Alexa, gets a lot of traffic. It’s considered to be a premium directory, and it shows with the premium review fee of $9.99. Nevertheless, it could be well worth the investment, especially when banners and links from traditional sources cost easily 2-3 times that monthly.

Night Bidding Directory - British is listed in the Bidding Directories category and you can view it’s listing here.

Scratch Cards

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

Scractch Cards have been around as long as I can remember. Scratch Cards really became popular in the UK when they were introduced as part of the National Lottery, however I’ve never really bought scratchcards, so whilst I could figure out simply that three of a certain symbol wins a prize, I admit I’d be a bit more confused with some of the other cards.

Luckily this website comes to the forefront. It is a primer for somebody who wants more information about scratch cards, and specifically playing online scratchcards. It also offers important advice: “Always set yourself a daily or weekly budget and never exceed it. If you have a nice win then keep playing but be aware that scratch cards are purely a game of luck so never bet more than you can comfortably afford to lose.”

If you’re a bit scared to play first, and want a little assistance, why not play for free? There’s a number of websites offering Free Scractch Cards, including this one. You don’t win anything but it’ll give you a good idea what to expect.

Scratch Cards is in the Online Gaming category and you can view the listing here.
